Boy, I am a bit off the wagon this month. My work schedule changed, and I am preparing to move into a new house. Also a week ago or so I was very sick with the flu. All that said. I’ve officially fallen behind on where I would like to be with the website. This next month may be a little hit and miss for that reason, but once I’ve moved into the house I should be back on track.

I will do my best, but sometimes life is just a little hectic! In the mean time I will post what I can. Perhaps when I’m back I’ll double post for a while to make up for it. Sorry again, hope you enjoy what does make it up!

So last week I missed a post. I could have updated a day late or so, but decided not to. Frankly I was to tired and busy to worry to much about it. Sorry for anyone that may have missed the post for the week. My work schedule changed drastically last week and it was quite the jolt to most of my routine doings. We have made it through alive though. Thanks for concerning yourself.

This strip you’ll notice isn’t very funny. It’s a setup for the next up and coming strips. I would say that from time to time our intention will be not to deliver a joke, but to deliver a story. You will get all sorts of entertaining flavors in your mouth here. Indulge your palette and enjoy.

There are some decisions that are easier to make than others. I will post more later. Quite tired right now…

Who hasn’t wanted to take a page out of the big cigarette business model and just lace their food product with nicotine. As far as we know it’s already been done with fast food french fries. So delectable.

Hard times call for desperate measures though. Even heads prevail. Right now it seems everyone and their brother are getting laid off or having their hours cut. Bad times. Almost makes one want to add nicotine to things and sell it up. First one is free. Then the price goes up, son.

I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all been there. So desperate for some quick cash we’ll do nearly anything. Well not anything that would be really risky. Just something that would get us some quick cash. I suppose in truth not all of us have. As a matter of fact if you ever stole any money from a small child’s lemonade stand you are most likely one of the worst people alive. Just saying.

Well, looks like the end may be near. The Mayans were kind of right to that end I suppose. The end was predicted to be in 2012. However, they were evidently speaking of internet regulations. Who knew that they could have so accurately predicted the end of a technology they didn’t know about. How you wonder? Maybe they invented the first internet.

That aside, how ’bout sweatpants?! Drives me crazy when I see people in public in sweats. I can’t help but feel it is a natural progression of the degradation of our culture. No pants? That’s OK. Heck who needs to shower or look respectable. That’s just something that society forces on you. Do what you want. Soon it’ll be fine just to roll out of bed and wear your bed linens.

Well internet, and social stigmas, I knew you well. I bid thee adieu.

The thought of taking a step in being responsible to a readership to a monetary level is a little concerning to me. Not that any readership has a direct cash investment in me or my site, but that by placing ads around I have an investment in you. I have indirectly stated, “I want you to see my site so much I will pay money to tell you about it.” It seems that once the money is exchanged that there is a greater investment on my part. Now if you come and see my site I feel that if you don’t like it that you’ve been deceived.

It seems to reason to me that the same monetary investment that I put out to post an ad is like me saying, “my site is worth this much to your,” or, “you would have wanted me to spend this much money for you to see this.” Then in the event that you are dissatisfied you’ll be able to say, “it was not worth that much.” Now I understand that the cost economics as I express them here are certainly skewed from reality, but in the back of my head that’s how I feel.

In the near future I may even be hosting ad space. Then I’ll have a commitment to those individuals. Then what’ll I do?

p.s. Apparently “what’ll” cannot be a conjunction. I’m keeping it anyway. I like it.

A slight divergence from the usual. A bit of a side track. I got a little sick earlier this week. So time I would have spent working on the strip was spent lying about thinking, “why am I alive!?” The answer to that is yet to be fully determined. Perhaps to bring the internet passe comics. Yes, perhaps indeed. Never-the-less I submit to you a strip I rifled aside for such a time as this. I kind of like it. So there. Also; look at that! I just made you think “look at what?” I bet you feel used.

Ben thinks this is crude. You know what? It probably is a little. Blam! So this post is later than usual. My apologies. Yesterday is the normal day that I would post and I was quite busy. I could have uploaded before work today, but then I always feel so groggy I don’t know what to write here. Instead I opted to be clear headed and talk about the fact that I have nothing to talk about. Just practicing my futility. One day I’ll be articulate and interesting. Until then there is this.
